Fleet Supervisor (Satanta, KS)
Coordinates and administers a variety of duties to keep thehelium fleet inventoryand related equipment in safe, serviceable and regulatory compliant to support the global business operations and opportunities. Provides direction and communicates information to maintenance staff, outside service repair providers, contracted maintenance vendors, regulatory commissions and internal departments. Responsible for analyzing information identifying appropriate work priorities, coordinating work with other departments, outside vendors and identifying necessary fleet improvements and productivity opportunities. Also responsible for coordinating and maintaining work duties, safe conduct, annual reviews, work-hour scheduling and overall performance of the maintenance staff and outside service / maintenance vendors.
Communicates with internal and external customers to determine and implement the maintenance and retest requirements of trailers; establishes and coordinates trailer maintenance and retest schedules.
Monitors tube trailers, liquid containers and chassis for repairs and retest
Sets priority of containers and vehicles for preventative maintenance schedules, required inspections and necessary repairs/maintenance at remote locations asrequired.
Communicate and ensure completion of maintenance/test schedules.
Coordinate and monitor helium equipment parts inventory levels, maintain inventory at lowest possible levels and work to identify least cost options.
Support various business initiatives including adherence to maintenance and retest budget requirements for both liquid and gaseous helium.
Coordination of various product distribution improvement projects with the PTC, customers, outside engineering and vendors.
Maintain records as required by Praxair, D.O.T., and other regulatory agencies in support of domestic and global shipments including adhering to and supporting the Helium groups quality system.
Accountable for directing the work, including supervising day-to-day activities of fleet maintenance personnel along with identification of duties and establishing schedules for Helium group internal fleet mechanics.
Coordinates container issues including problem resolution on Praxair owned and operated fleet, and jointly managed customer owned fleet.
Collects and evaluates equipment data for safety, efficiency and usage.
Accountable for technical information in the procurement of replacement parts and equipment.
Accountable in governmental, third party and Praxair regulatory assessments
Accountable for maintenance staff’s safety performance, equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and vehicle investment preservation.
Assist in ordering parts and maintaining records for materials, fuels, lubricants, tires, batteries and other supplies as needed for garages.
Assists in maintaining staff’s tools and equipment
Assists in garage’s maintenance records as required by D.O.T. and Praxair

Computer experience required with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong process fleet maintenance and D.O.T. experience.
Travel between locations is required.
