Driver – Micro Bulk

This position is accountable for the delivery of CO2, and/or Argonand Nitrogen to customers with microbulk installations. This position will be 4x 10hr shifts (days of the week to be determined)

Major responsibilities (Duties may include but are not limitedto):

  • Deliver microbulkproducts to scheduled customers via a tandem or single axle truck

  • Complete trip reports,fuel tickets and other necessary reports

  • Complete site surveys ofequipment and identify potential repairs of tanks at customer locations

  • Ability to work Overtimeas required

  • Cover “on call” phoneresponsibilities if required

  • Follow all safetyprotocol

  • Other duties as assignedby the manager


Job Related Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent experience

Professional experience:

  • Valid, incident free, applicable provincial Driver's License with air brake endorsement

  • Able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required

  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training

  • Strong aptitude for delivery technology (handheld computers, E-Logs)

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance

  • Safety first mentality

Other considerations:

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Knowledge of compressed gases and the safe handling of gases

  • Available to work overtime

  • Cryogenic gas knowledge/experience
