Praxair Surface Technologies (PST), a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc., a Fortune 300 company that supplies atmospheric, process, specialty gases, high-performance coatings, and related services & technologies is seeking a Team Leader in our plant located in Woodinville, WA.

Production Team Leader

  • Exemplifying PST Values and Behaviors, the team leader safely performs a variety of tasks, aimed at meeting team goals and customer needs.

  • Primary function for team leaders is shift supervision, work direction, and op tech development and training.

  • When necessary, performs all value adding steps to customer hardware, operates and maintains process equipment,

  • Performs auxiliary and support functions in accordance with required safety and quality standards.

  • Provides safety training, and documents same for all team members; monitors safety performance; assigns and schedules work activities to meet requirements.

  • Coordinates activities with other departments as needed. May interact with external customers.

  • Schedules vacations and maintains attendance records for all team members.

  • Prepares PMP's for all team members and conductsappraisal/feedback performance reviews.

  • May as necessary act as a "working team leader" when needed in the department to meet objectives; or to substitute for absent team members.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Previous experience in a leadership role is desirable

  • Work from and follow detailed written instructions

  • Able to operate complex process equipment

  • Perform basic computer skills

  • Must be a positive motivated team player

  • Communicate and work well in a diverse environment

  • Able to work any shift and necessary overtime

  • Use hand tools, and perform hand finishing

  • Able to safely lift 40lbs, stand 8hrs or sit 8hrs with or without accommodation

  • High School diploma or GED
